I am a wife of 15 years and a mother of three. My educational background includes a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Maine, at Presque Isle and a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University. Aside from my years of education and training, I have worked in other mental health settings, such as community integrated case management, special education in a school setting, school guidance counselor, and school based clinician. Helping client to process their issues and find peace and balance within themselves and their relationships brings me great joy. I believe that it is important for clients to feel heard and validated in sessions. I work to understand clients and support them with learning how to cope with symptoms and find ways to have healthy communication and boundaries within their relationships. I find that I have a unique quality in that I have experienced many life struggles and transitions, personally, which puts me in a position to be able to better understand clients and empathize on a deeper level.
